At Virgil I. Grissom, we believe strongly in the partnership between school and community. We encourage input from students, families, business leaders and neighborhood resources. Through our commitment to excellence beginning at Pre-K and continuing through 6th grade, our students continue to meet high expectations academically and socially while striving to become productive, responsible citizens of the world.

Virgil I. Grissom School No. 7:

  • Has an English Language Learners (ELL) program for newcomers to our country.

  • Has Literacy Volunteers through First Universalist Church.

  • Offers choir, band and orchestra for our students to showcase their musical talents.
